Pictures are worth a thousand words. But every story comes with a little something going on in the background of the picture. You should always check what's going on behind you before you pose for a photo. Otherwise, you might end up on Judge Judy with a celebrity sitting right behind you or someone planking in your sister's wedding photo. These funny photos are exactly why you need to be careful out there.
Leaning Tower Of Butts
A typical day at the Leaning Tower. The guy in the back is the hero we need but don't deserve. He's just there for the support so the lady doesn't fall flat on her butt. Not all heroes need to wear capes in the real world.
What is it with tourists all doing this same exact pose when visiting this site, by the way? Not only did the man in the background save the woman from falling but he made the photo a lot less boring.
You Had One Job
It looks like this is a big day for this young man. Prom, the best night of any high schooler's life, right? Probably not. But still, this guy looks all dressed up and ready to pick up his hot date in the limo but not without dad taking a picture first. Clearly, he never learned anything about camera angles.
Or maybe he knew exactly what he was doing. Way to go, dad.

Now this is exactly what it's like to be a teenager, encapsulated in one absolutely epic photo. Every family has that one child who will go out of their way to be silly for five seconds. Think about it, would you rather have this photo to laugh at or have a photo where he's making silly faces?

Ah, the time-honored tradition of the pre-prom photo. Here's how you do it: you get all dressed up in your special gown and pose for a portrait before your date picks you up. And then your dad takes off his shirt and lurks in the window behind you with a weird look on his face.
All you need to do now is put the photo in a frame and you're all set!

This kid is really dedicated to his team. Even though he seems to have a case of food poisoning or a stomach bug, he got dressed in his uniform and headed down to the hockey rink for a group portrait. Just gotta say that everyone around him is lucky that his aim is so good.
And gotta say that he's not so lucky that this photo has been passed around the internet so many times. Hope he has a sense of humor.

It's not entirely clear what this couple is doing in this photo. But whatever it is, they're standing in front of a storefront and seem completely unaware that there's a strange little girl staring at them with a totally creepy look on her face.
We hope this is one of those situations where they didn't notice the image until much later. And maybe that they were in a dark room when they first saw her face looking out at them.
K9 Centipede
At least this isn't like the horror movie. Just three dogs sniffing butts, because that's all they do when their comrades are at the beach. A Neopolitan of butt sniffers, the dog not in the line is missing out on all the fun. Please Tom Six, don't make this into a movie.
We would like to know where this bizarre dog beach is located, though. We're just curious whether this activity happens every day or just randomly.

Years from now, this couple and the guy planking in the back will have to explain to the kids what exactly planking is all about. It's really outdated but you don't have many options when you're at a church. It would have been funny if all the groomsmen did it with him.
Actually, it's been long enough that this is already really weird to look at. We think it's time for planking to make a comeback.
Paris And Kangaroo Jack
How long do you think it took Paris Hilton to notice what was going on in the background? It's no surprise to travel to Australia and seeing two kangaroos getting it on. That's the funny thing about animals: they'll do whatever they want, whenever they want. Especially when Paris is in town.
Apparently, even the kangaroos in Australia have heard what an animal lover the heiress is! She has like a gazillion pets.

Here we have a troupe of ballerinas, all decked out in their tutus. But who is that behind them? It appears to be a naked man jumping into the air, poised to attack. Maybe he's just a fellow dancer (which would explain him being shirtless), but either way, this guy pulled off an epic photobomb here.
Anytime you can photobomb such a large group at once, you know you're a pro at it.

The guy who's being pinned by security kind of looks like Sylvester Stallone when you wake him up too early in the morning. However, take a closer look at the man in the background. The only thing that matters to him is that his expensive tasty beer is safe.
Actually, he just looks way too relaxed to be in the middle of this otherwise chaotic scene. That beer must really be doing the trick and calming his nerves.
Playing With Children Gone Wrong
If you believe in the laws of gravity, it looks like saving that child in the background is past the point of no return. We don't care how strong you are, this looks like that "throw your kid in the air and catch them" gone south. I hope these parents are ready to explain what happened to the doctor.

It's great to see a woman dress up as Rich Uncle Penny Bags. It's the ultimate troll during the Equifax Senate Hearing and a creative way to protest.
This story was actually in the news a lot because people were super impressed by this woman's bold move. Her name is Amanda Werner and she's a campaign manager at the nonprofit advocacy groups Americans for Financial Reform and Public Citizen. Kudos, Ms. Werner!

Baseball fans, here are two things you should know. First, don't EVER jump onto the field the second your team is headed to the World Series. Secondly, security will be all over you. In fairness, the fan is just psyched about the Astros playoff run after all the city went through.
Professional sports should basically issue instruction manuals to all fans who decide to attend games. And injury disclaimers because people are gonna get hurt.

Is it just me or is this really random? Maybe the kid eating the bag of Doritos is trolling his sister's promo photo or he's got a mad case of the munchies. There is a lot of happiness in one photo, the kid doesn't even care that he's in his pajamas eating a tasty snack.

News reporter Mustafa Barghouti appears on live TV with the same program playing right behind him. Talk about double vision, this is very funny. But why does he look so annoyed in the photo but in the back he looks like he's explaining something?
We have so many unanswered questions, and nowhere to turn to get them answered. We'll just have to keep admiring the photo and wondering about it.

Senior Photos With A Big Twist
Thanks to a photobomber, one young lady in Oregon had her senior photos ruined... in a very hilarious way. After Jillian Henry posted the pics, they quickly got 24,000 retweets!
The reason they took off so fast because unbeknownst to Jillian, there was a nude dude and his pet pup in the background of some of them. Luckily she had a sense of humor about the whole thing. "We were taking some in the water when we realized he was a few spots down, naked, and we started laughing so hard," she said in an interview.
Take That, Future Baby
Usually, people take maternity pictures to remember a simpler time before they actually had kids to worry about but could still call themselves soon-to-be parents. This dog, however, is having none of it and knows exactly what his baby is going to change his life too, so he's letting his owners know how he feels.

It looks like this little girl's trip to the zoo with her grandma took a turn for the worse. Either nobody actually realized what was happening when the picture was taken, or somebody with a sick mind took advantage of this girl's innocence and snapped this picture as a joke.

Altogether, there's more than one thing to laugh about in this picture. Our favorite part is the goofy look on the ostrich's messy face as he intimidates the people in the car.

This nice family was just trying to take a picture to commemorate their trip at what looks like Mount Rushmore. Apparently, some other family members in the back weren't having such a good time.
That little boy in the back, off to the right, must have really done something wrong for his sister to take it to this extreme. We can't help but wonder what it is that he did.

Talk about perfect timing. This guy was walking down the beach at just the right time and was exactly the right distance to make it appear that a toddler was picking him up by the head with his giant hand.
You really couldn't have planned this if you tried. So you shouldn't. These things are just way funnier when they happen naturally. Planning trick photos out is so last year, didn't you know?
A Truck In Game Of Thrones?
The photo of the truck in the background of an episode of Game Of Thrones went viral. Believe it or not, that screenshot is from a behind-the-scenes video for Beyond The Wall. While the Snapchat caption is hilarious, it's rather bizarre to see that in the background.
By now we're all familiar with the water bottle that made its way onto the Game of Thrones editing table. These things just happen, man.

Originally, it's safe to assume that all these four girls thought they just took the perfect picture to all share on their individual Instagrams. They're all smiling, nobody's eyes are closed, and it's clear they're at a sporting event.

Parenting For Dummies
We guess that there's nothing wrong with using what you got. In this case, it means lowering your small child down to retrieve the game ball that you can pass down from father to son for generations. The problem is, there doesn't seem to be a ball anywhere in sight.
In that case, maybe they're just practicing for the next time a ball does come along. So this is pretty much genius-level planning that we're looking at here.

It takes a minute to spot it, but when you do... lol. The person sharing the photo even admitted that they had it hanging on their fridge for years before they noticed the sneaky addition.
This is like Where's Waldo but with more variety. It gets old searching for that same red-and-white-striped shirt after about 700 times, but spotting people and animals in the background of photos is something we could do forever.

Well, this person might just have the privilege of being the parent of the two vainest children around. It's bad enough that the daughter is hugging a photo frame she found at the store because she thought it was a picture of herself.

One father-daughter duo saw another, younger, father-daughter duo out in a Starbucks and decided to recreate their positions. We don't know about you, but this is pretty cool and we hope the people in the foreground were pleasantly surprised by the funny and thoughtful photobomb.
