Sacha Baron Cohen was barred from the 84th Academy Awards for spilling an urn containing the "ashes" of Kim Jong Il all over Ryan Seacrest's tuxedo.

Ryan Seacrest was taken completely by surprise. The stunt cost Cohen his ticket into the awards, but it got him a lot of media attention.

Sacha Baron Cohen had this to say about the situation: “So the FBI got so many complaints that they started compiling a little file on us and eventually they came to visit us at the hotel. I obviously went missing when I heard because [the film crew] were like, ‘FBI’s downstairs. Sacha, disappear.'"

That's right, the man behind Borat graduated from Cambridge University with a history degree. His comedy is a lot smarter than most people give him credit for.

Maybe Cambridge helped him develop his comedic mind. Some of the great British comedians went to Cambridge, and Cohen is one of them.

Every comedian needs to start somewhere, and it doesn't get more basic than clowning around.

Sacha took clown training in Paris, at the Ecole Philippe Gaulier, studying under master-clown Philippe Gaulier. Gaulier said that Cohen "was a good clown, full of spirit." That's basically a description of every Sacha Baron Cohen character ever.

In the video, Madonna and her friends party and sing in a limousine driven by Ali G. I'd trust Sacha to drive a limo, but I'm not sure about Ali G.

The Czech men were detained for "minor hooliganism." I think minor hooliganism should be totally legal. Just a little bit of fun is ok.

Unfortunately for everybody, he suffered a severe reaction to the bleach where the sun don't shine. I don't care what anybody says, that's commitment.

Sacha Baron Cohen was supposed to star as Freddie Mercury in a biopic about the Queen frontman. Ultimately, he decided to leave the film over creative differences with Queen.

He was told that Freddie died in the middle of the film. Initially, he thought that meant that the story was going to be told out of order, but then he realized that the second half of the film would be about how the band carried on without Freddie.

When he's transforming into Brüno, he shaves all of his hair (and I mean ALL of his hair) and he makes sure his body is super clean.

I guess that sort of explains the wrestling scene in Borat, although I'm not sure that I'll ever truly understand that scene's real purpose. I think it's beyond all of us.
