Here’s What Everyone Wore To Princess Eugenie’s Royal Wedding
Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank on Friday, October 12th, 2019 and the whole world stopped to watch their love — and by "their love," we mean they stopped to watch what everyone was wearing. Let's face it, weddings are as much about fashion as they are about the feelings. We're thrilled for Jack and Eugenie, but we're also thrilled we get to witness these gorgeous dresses and fascinators.
Keep reading to see what everyone wore to the royal wedding. You might even get some ideas about what to wear to your own fall celebrations this year.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank
Let's start with this stunning wedding dress, shall we? Princess Eugenie looks like a classic princess in this simple ballgown with shoulder details. And we can't forget her jaw-dropping tiara. She looks exactly how a princess should look.
Her new husband, Jack Brooksbank, is also looking pretty dapper. We especially love the the blue detailing in his tie and how his boutonnière ties in with his bride's bouquet.
Queen Elizabeth II
The queen is known for her monochromatic head-to-toe suits. She wore a lime green suit to Meghan and Harry's wedding, a yellow dress to Kate and William's wedding, and now this lovely powder blue get-up to Eugenie and Jack's wedding.
We especially love the off-white flower on her hat, which matches perfectly with the iridescent buttons on her top. How is the Queen so stylish?
Meghan Markle
We're continuing the solid color trend with Megan Markle's lovely navy blue number. This look is blue on blue on blue, with a pop of black in the heels. Who ever said that black and navy don't go together? Meghan is proving that when you're a princess, anything goes.
Alright, Meghan is a duchess, not a princess, but she can still do whatever she wants.
Pippa Middleton
Yet another solid color. Pippa definitely got the jewel tone memo. She looks absolutely stunning in this forest green dress. Also, look at her adorable baby bump. We have to say, we can't wait for another royal baby.
We know Pippa isn't technically a royal, but she is the sister of a royal and that's good enough for us.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and The Rest Of The Kiddos
These kids are just too cute for words. Look at little Charlotte's royal wave. We can't. It's too cute. Prince George is looking spiffy in his white top, and all of the girls look amazing with their multi-colored sashes.
We also love that all the girls are rocking a half up half down hairstyle. Very cohesive.
Cara Delevingne
Cara Delevingne made headlines when she showed up to the royal wedding wearing tails and a top hat. The majority of people have been obsessing over her androgynous look and Twitter is aflame with users praising her break from tradition. We're totally here for it.
Cara always looks gorgeous (she is a model after all), but this is how a supermodel shows up to a wedding.
Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding's light blue dress is stunning, yet simple. It looks like something anyone could wear, and that makes us love this relatable queen even more. We mean, she is at a royal wedding, so she isn't that relatable, but still.
We can pretend that we can relate to Ellie and we can pretend that we're on the same level.
Sarah, Duchess of York and Princess Beatrice
We're going to have to go out and look for some solid jewel tones to wear. We promise you, everybody is going to be out in the fall weather wearing some kind of solid blue or green or crimson outfit in the coming weeks.
And we're not mad about it. While love a good pattern, solids are just so classic.
Kate Moss
Finally, someone who feels some kind of way about a pattern. This polka dot dress has a classic look, and is perfectly accented with navy blue detailing. Kate Moss is still on trend, but decided that she was going to do her own thing with her ensemble.
We absolutely love it, and those shoes are to die for.
Poppy Delevingne
Cara's sister Poppy opted for a much more feminine look. But the real showstopper here is her fascinator, which is the most fascinating one we've seen yet — and the tallest one we've seen so far.
We're swooning over this periwinkle blue color and the cutout details on her dress. That long periwinkle trench coat needs to get into our wardrobes ASAP.
Liv Tyler
Liv Tyler has taken a classic '80s look and updated it for 2018. Maybe she's pulling inspiration from her rock star father?
Whatever her inspiration was, Liv looks absolutely stunning, and those simple heels definitely add some finesse to this simple two piece suit. We like this darker navy option. It's more of a neutral than a jewel tone.
Nicola and George Brooksbank
Meet the parents of the groom. Jack's mom looks amazing in her floral dress and silver shoes, and his dad looks like a true gentleman (that red tie!).
Nicola's hat looks super chic and we can definitely see where Jack gets his looks from. Do you think these two ever expected a royal wedding in their son's future?
Naomi Campbell
British model Naomi Campbell is stunning in this wintery black and white dress. The black gloves add a nice royal touch. Naomi Campbell looks good in anything, but this dress is especially stylish.
She's added a string of pearls around her neck just too keep everything super classy.
Kate Middleton and Prince William
Kate opted for a solid crimson dress with a matching crimson fascinator. This dress is doing wonders for her body, cinching her waist and emphasizing her strong arms. We love the pleated details around the neckline, and that sapphire on her finger on full display.
Prince William isn't looking too bad himself. He looks as royal as ever.
Stephen Fry and Elliott Spencer
Stephen Fry arrived to the royal wedding with his husband, Elliott Spencer. They both look super windswept in this photo, but still stylish in a very effortless kind of way. Both Stephen and Elliott opted for autumnal looking vests.
Yellow and orange may not be this wedding's exact vibe (based on the other outfits we've seen), but it's definitely this season's vibe.
Cressida Bonas
Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas arrived to Eugenie and Jack's wedding in this patterned blue and black dress. Unlike most of the other guests at this wedding, she's chosen not to wear black shoes or match her shoes to her dress.
That pop of red on her feet really stands out against the rest of her outfit.
Chelsy Davy
Another one of Harry's ex-lovers, Chelsy Davy, showed up in this sheer navy dress. We can't see her shoes in this picture, but like Cressida, she's incorporated some red into her look. Her nail polish is definitely popping.
We do think it's ironic that Cressida, Chelsy, and Meghan all wore dark blue. It's a little bit weird, right?
Demi Moore And Eric Buterbaugh
Demi Moore is in on the whole solid jewel tone thing. We guess it is super autumnal. Her dress is pretty similar to Kate's, but it's a bit more form fitting. She showed up to the royal shindig with her florist friend, Eric Buterbaugh.
Eric Buterbaugh holds his own next to the stunning starlet. Considering he's a florist and perfumer, we wouldn't expect anything less!
Pixie Geldof
Model Pixie Geldof arrived to the wedding in this caped pink gown. She went for a fascinator that's not the same color as the rest of her outfit and we think that was a good choice. A pink fascinator with this dress would be too much pink.
Her shoes and her fascinator match, which is a nice touch.
Robbie Williams
Singer Robbie Williams showed up to the wedding in a classic three piece suit. We love that none of the pieces are the same color. It's a cool way to get a masculine look that still has visual interest.
He came to the ceremony with his wife and his mother in law. Good lad.
James Blunt
We love James Blunt's pinstripe pants. They're a little bit classy, a little bit rock and roll, and entirely stylish. Also, can we talk about his wife's dress? It's definitely the most unique dress we've seen so far.
The red piping detail elevates the pattern, and her fascinator takes the whole look right over the top.
Jimmy Carr
Comedian Jimmy Carr looks... well, like himself. He's wearing a classic black suit. You can't go wrong with a classic black suit. Let's just say that it's way more fun to look at the women's outfits. Like those two ladies beside him, for instance.
They both look super stylish. We'll learn more about their outfits in just a bit!
Ricky Martin
Some royal watchers were said to be confused about Ricky Martin's presence at Eugenie’s wedding, but he and his husband, 34-year-old Swedish artist Jwan Yosef, looked dashing at the event.
The "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer and host of The Voice Australia wore a flattering three-piece suit and a light blue necktie. His hubby looked equally chic for the big day.
Holly Branson
Holly Branson, daughter of the billionaire entrepreunur Richard Branson, is one of Princess Eugenie's closest friends. The pair has even run in the London Marathon together.
Branson, who was pregnant with her first child, dressed her growing baby bump in dark belted dress. She topped off her look with a matching fascinator featuring a large pale pink rose.
Lila Grace Hack-Moss
Supermodel Kate Moss brought the ultimate accessory to Eugenie and Jack's wedding – her gorgeous mini-me daughter Lila Grace. Lila, whose father is Jefferson Hack, the CEO and co-founder of Dazed Media, turned 16 years old just a few days before the nuptials.
She already has a promising modeling career ahead of her. For the royal wedding, Lila chose to wear a long pink floral dress along with a faux fur coat and a demure net veil.
Crown Princess Marie-Chantal Of Greece
One of the most glamorous royal families in the world was present for Eugenie and Jack's wedding. The lovely Crown Princess Marie-Chantal Of Greece, along with husband Prince Pavlos of Greece and their daughter Princess Maria-Olympia, turned many heads at the event.
Maria-Olympia wore a flattering red Dolce and Gabbana midi dress along with a statement headpiece. Her parents opted for more understated looks.
Karoline Copping
As we mentioned earlier, comedian Jimmy Carr was in attendance at the royal wedding. He brought along his longtime girlfriend, television executive Karoline Copping, who looked terrific in a blue floral ensemble.
The weather was blustery that day, and many women struggled to keep their hats in place as they arrived for the ceremony. Luckily, Karoline was able to keep hers on.
Ayda Field
As discussed, Robbie Williams brought his wife, American film and television actress Ayda Field (and her mother!) to the event. Field, an American film and television actress, judges alongside Williams on The X Factor.
She looked every bit the part of a royal wedding attendee in a monochromatic silvery dress and jacket along with daring stiletto heels. Her outfit was designed by celeb favorite Giorgio Armani.
Holly Valance Candy
The color pink was a favorite of many guests attending Eugenie and Jack's wedding. Actress Holly Valance Candy also chose the pretty shade for her dress. She and her billionaire husband Nick Candy made a dashing entrance as they arrived.
Holly's stunning yet understated dress, featuring a diamond belt, was designed by the British couture designer Ralph & Russo.
Emily Wansbrough
As can be expected, Princess Eugenie has a lot of friends in the fashion world. One of them, Emily Wansbrough, is a buyer for NET-A-PORTER. She looked every bit a fashion insider in a modest polka dotted dress.
She later posted to Instagram, "Now I have lost my voice but speechless from the most incredible weekend celebrating two very special people."
Lady Gabriella Windsor
Fifty-first in line to the succession of the British throne, Lady Gabriella Windsor is a first cousin once removed of the Queen. Her parents are Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
The 37-year-old announced her own wedding to Mr. Thomas Kingston just weeks before she attended Eugenie's wedding in a flattering teal dress and matching hat.
Tracey Emin
Leave it to an artist to depart from boring, predictable wedding attire. A Royal Academician of the Royal Academy of Arts, Tracey Emin has made a name for herself with her drawing, painting, sewing, and photography artwork.
For Eugenie and Jack's big day, she chose a flattering dark blue dress with matching coat and a whimsical top hat. A splash of bright purple on her shoes finished the look.
George Barnett
He's a model and a drummer, and he happens to be married to the lovely Pixie Geldof. The two wed in 2017, and appeared together on Princess Eugenie's big day.
Barnett has modeled for Gucci, Burberry, and Yves Saint Laurent. He looked just as stunning at the royal wedding in his pinstriped pants and complementary vest.
Lisa Snowdon
The British model and radio/television personality Lisa Snowdon made an appearance at the royal wedding, opting for a toned-down striped navy dress for the event.
The former host of Britain's Next Top Model is seen here conversing with another guest before the ceremony began, sporting a dark blue coat over her dress.
Sophie, Countess Of Essex
Here we see the arrival of another royal family. Sophie, the Countess of Wessex and her husband Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex brought their son James, Viscount Severn.
The Countess wore a dark mid-length dress, like many others who attended Eugenie and Jack's wedding. She managed to keep her stylish hat on her head despite the brisk wind that day.
Tamara Beckwith
Socialite Tamara Beckwith was yet another royal wedding guest who wore a navy ensemble to the event. But Beckwith, who was once called the "wild child" of Britain's social scene in the past, added some flair to hers.
These polka-dotted nylons are a far cry from the navy or nude-toned hose that most of the other guests wore. And Beckwith also topped off her look with an attention-getting hat. She's no shrinking violet just because she's in navy!
Lottie Murray Wells
Lottie Murray Wells was a refreshing departure from the "navy army" in this bright red ensemble complete with matching red hat on top. She and husband James Wells Murray, who is the founder of Glasses Direct, are long-time friends of Eugenie's.
Many members of the royal family attended the Wells' wedding in 2014. In fact, the press paid special attention to the blue coat that Eugenie wore at the event.
Thomas Inskip
Of course Prince Harry's best friend was going to attend Princess Eugenie's wedding. Thomas Inskip and his wife Lara both looked chic at the nuptials, with Lara opting for a separate skirt and blouse rather than a dress.
Harry and Meghan attended the Inskips' Jamaican wedding in 2017, with Harry serving as an usher.
Zoe Warren
Stripes! How refreshing! After all the dark blue and navy outfits we've seen at the royal wedding, Zoe Warren's colorful stripes are a breath of fresh air. The splash of orange in her hat is also a welcome sight.
Warren and her husband are very close to Prince Harry and are the parents of two-year-old Zalie Warren, who was the youngest bridesmaid at Harry and Meghan's May wedding.
Elizabeth Pelly
Elizabeth Pelly, formerly Lizzy Wilson, is one of several wedding guests to sport a baby bump at Princess Eugenie's wedding. Pelly's husband Guy is another of Harry's BFFs.
For the event, Elizabeth didn't shy away from color like many other guests did. She chose a bright red ruffled frock and looked amazing in it!
But why not wear a veil?
Princess Eugenie undeniably looked beautiful. But many were wondering, why not wear a veil?
Eugenie actually suffered from scoliosis as a child and at the age of 12 had a titanium rod inserted into her back to help her manage her back problems. Without a veil and with a dress that perfectly frames her scar, Eugenie shows other children who may be struggling that it's okay and perfectly normal.
